Silver-plated metal. Stamped with "MH 20" and double-headed eagle. 55.5 x 18 cm. - Some denting to the edges.

Date: c. 1820 Description: Elegant self-portrait by the famous Viennese miniature and portrait painter of his time, the portraitist of the Austrian aristocracy and upper bourgeoisie. In the present sheet, which can probably be dated to the artist's late creative phase, the artist used a mixed technique of lithography and copperplate engraving.
