Davidsson, Josefine - Small design vase - (born 1952) Designed and manufactured by Josefine Davidsson, Stockholm, 1998. Crescent-shaped with bulge, with bevelled bands on the front, fine hammered decoration. Silver. At the bottom name mark, "SJD", city mark, fineness "925", and year mark "Z10". 8 x 12.5 x 5.5 cm; 282 g. - Josefine Davidsson is a Swedish silversmith. She studied at Konstfack, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, from 1976 to 1980. Josefine Davidsson has run her own workshop in Stockholm since 1980. She is a member of Nutida Svenskt Silver (Contemporary Swedish Silver). Her work is represented in the National Museum in Stockholm.
