Eker, Anna-Greta - Small pair of table candlesticks - (Åland/Finland 1928-2002) Manufacturer Auran Kultaseppä, Turku, 1961. Pointed conical wooden base, short shaft with cylindrical spout over navette-shaped eaves bowl. Silver and mahogany. Designer's name on the shaft, state stamp, fineness "813H". H. 11.5 cm. - Anna-Greta Eker (1928-2002) was a Scandinavian jewelry and metal designer. She attended the Ateneum School of Crafts in Helsinki and graduated in 1951. Between 1952 and 1955, Eker worked at Hopea Keskus in Hämeenlinna. Later she worked at Auran Kultaseppä Oy in Turku.
