Heart-shaped box - Frankfurt am Main, Adolf Mayer - around 1900 - In the shape of a heart with a flat hinged lid, on the top two medallions with Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette under a crown, below intertwined monogram "LL", wall with cupids on horns of plenty, holding a medallion with a head on flowers. Silver. The base with maker's monogram "AM" in a circle, crescent moon, crown and fineness. 4.8 x 12.5 x 12 cm; 268 g.
