Soap ball - Augsburg, 1763-65 - Abraham IV Drentwett (Mstr. 1741-85). Hinged ball shape over a stepped, round foot, wall decorated with curved folds, engraving of a fox under a crown below the pusher. Silver with gilt interior. At the bottom gem. with inspection mark and master's mark "AD". H. 8.5 cm; 166 g. - Cf. Seling 246+2329.
