Large serving spoon - Nuremberg, circa 1770 - Johann Wilhelm Weiß (Mstr. 1760-1804). Flat handle with curved outline and shell decoration. Silver with remnants of gilding. Inspection mark on the bowl, master's mark "IWW", prefix letter "B" for Matthäus Vieweg (1769-73). L. 34.8 cm; 125 g. - Cf. Nuremberg goldsmith's art MZ0945, VB03B.
