Baroque sugar bowl - Augsburg, c. 1735/36 - Johann Wagenknecht (mstr. 1716-52). Oval, bulging body with slightly domed, hinged lid, the wall decorated with straight pleats arranged in pairs. Silver with gilt interior. Marked on the base, master's mark "IW" with leaf and inventory number "48". 8 x 13 x 10 cm; 238 g. - Cf. Seling 206+2089.
