Baroque sugar bowl with lid - Nuremberg, c. 1730/40 - Georg Daniel Weiß (mstr. 1706-49). Oval, bulbous shape, body decorated with straight pleats arranged in pairs. Silver. Marked on the base, master's mark "GDW" and tremolier mark. 6 x 11.5 x 8 cm; 118 g. - Slightly dented at the base edge. - Nuremberg goldsmith's art MZ0940.
