Description
Baroque Roman with floral decoration - Nuremberg, c. 1681/84 - Reinhold Rühl (also Riel, Mstr. 1652/53-1705). Round, profiled base with a broad, cylindrical shaft open at the top and a spherical bowl; shaft and bowl with large chased flowers and acanthus leaves. Silver, cast and chased, partially gilded on the outside and fully gilded on the inside. Hallmarked on the base with the hallmark, master's mark "TR" and tremolier mark. H. 9 cm; 70 g. - Lit.
