Pilaster jug - Probably Thuringia, 18th century - Roll form with C-shaped handle; yellow flowers on green stems on a gray-manganese jasper ground, the pilasters each with three leafy branches. White-glazed faience with polychrome hot-fire painting; pewter mount; lid with medallion, triple hallmarked inside. H. 23.5 cm. - Dented ball handle, foot zone with crack.
