Description
Large lidded tureen - Vienna, c. 1788 - Three-part, on a round base the spherical bowl with raised, two-part leaf handles, domed, double-walled lid with base opening and knob; the wall decorated with scattered flowers, the rim with laurel festoons on a rose-colored band. Porcelain with polychrome painting. Underglaze blue banded label on the base, year mark "88", painter and decoration number "i02", "86" and "70". H. 31.5 cm. - Lid with minimal chip and not quite matching.
