Seven-flame girandole with gardener's children - Meissen, 19th century - After a model by Ernst August Leuteritz. Fitted base on three volute feet, seated on three child figures with fruits and flowers in their hands, high baluster shaft with spout, insertable, seven-flame top with branch-like, s-shaped candlestick arms; richly decorated with applications of sculptural flowers as well as painted scattered flowers and insects. Porcelain with polychrome painting and gold staffage. Underglaze blue sceptre mark on the underside, model number "G 194 / 110". H. 58 cm. - Signs of use with chips, spouts partly with broken leaves.
