Group of Bacchantes - Meissen, late 19th century - Model by Ernst August Leuteritz. Bacchus sitting on an oval rock base on a wine barrel with a raised goblet, surrounded by the goddess Venus with a wine jug, the winged Cupid and a small faun. Porcelain with colored painting. Underglaze blue sword mark on the base with three grinding marks, model number "C 35x / 63, painter's mark "40". 34 x 26 x 15 cm. - Restorations, including the leg of Bacchus and the hand of Venus.
