A pewter rörken of the bakers' guild - Lübeck, 2nd half of the 17th century - Röttger Ahrtmann (active until after 1696) Conical body on a round, high arched foot, hinged lid with crowned pretzel engraving and double ball handle, band handle with plait pattern and coat of arms finial, engraved owner's name "Hinrich Christoffer Arrens" and date "1686" all around. Polished lid with city and master's mark. H. 21 cm. - Dented, signs of age and use.
