Memento Mori object, so-called viewing coffin - Around 1700 - On four disc feet, elongated, octagonal walnut body with profiled edges and coffered panels inlaid with bone, profiled sliding lid with star-shaped inlays, the interior lined with silk, the underside covered with colored paper. Approx. 4.5 x 23 x 7 cm. - Minor age damage, especially to the fabric; the figure missing.
