St. John the Baptist - 17th century - Standing in contrapposto on a round plinth, dressed in a fur robe and long cloak, holding a book with the Lamb of God in his left hand, his right hand raised in a gesture of blessing. Carved and gilded limewood, hollowed on the reverse. H. 87.5 cm. - The paint has been left over; inactive woodworm.
