The experiences of the war left their mark on his work, study trips to Serbia and Macedonia, worked as a drawing teacher in Nuremberg from 1920-57, civil servant from 1927 and appointed as a teacher in 1927, member of the Association of Nuremberg Artists and Craftsmen and the Nuremberg Secession, source: Vollmer, AKL, Nuremberg Artists' Encyclopaedia, register of the Academy in Munich and Wikipedia.
