Ivory tankard with silver mount - 19th century - Oval-cylindrical body carved in relief with putti in a playful fishing scene; lid and foot ring mounted and with ear handle, the lid with a relief portrait of a gentleman with inscription, and three coins inset. Silver, gilded inside. Marked on the underside. H. 22 cm. - Somewhat patinated, spout dented. - Due to the current regulations, a sale can only take place within the European Community, the required EC marketing certificate (CITES) is available.
