Uecker, Günther - Unalphabetische Zeilen - Nobelpreisbibliothek - (born Wendorf 1930) Installation with 20 books by the Nobel Prize winners in literature from 1907-2007, the book covers individually designed by the artist, with two bookends made of partially white patinated bronze. Both bronzes sign. and dat. "Uecker 012 72/500", foundry stamp "Schmäke Düsseldorf". Each book 21 x 13 cm (8°), bronze each 8 x 11.5 x 7.7 cm. - One cover restored.
