Four panel paintings with the Latin Church Fathers - Probably Tuscany, around 1600 - Gregory the Great at Holy Mass, Landscape with St. Jerome in the Wasteland, The Theophany of St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Ambrose on Horseback. Oil on thick wooden panel. Each 24 x 34.5/35.5 cm. - Traces of age, marginal defects; the gilt frame somewhat bumped. - Handwritten attribution to the Renaissance painter Lazzaro Bastiani (1429-1512) verso.
