Description
CARMEL de Brest - Kerhuon - Virgin kneeling in prayer in earthenware. The earthenware is white and glazed in white with blue highlights. This piece dates from the 1950s. The community, which moved to Le Relecq-Kerhuon in 1953 following the Second World War, had a small kiln of about 1 m³ on its premises, where it produced mainly religious figurines, but also a few jugs and utilitarian pieces. Signed CBK under the base. H. 11.7 cm (small chip under base)
