Description
KERALUC Quimper - Earthenware cake service comprising a dish and twelve plates. The dish is decorated with a portrait of Bishop Saint Corentin, one of the seven founding saints of Brittany, surrounded by a frieze of fish and hearts. Two intertwined rings recall the infinity symbol. The plates feature two different decorations of hearts and fish. Handwritten signature "Keraluc près Quimper" and monogram AR. Similar to Paul Yvain's early work for the factory, late 1940s. Diameter of dish: 35 cm. Diameter of plates: 20 cm.
