TESSIER Emile (1887 - 1971) - Set of two coffee and dessert services. The coffee service in white glazed earthenware, decorated with applique elements and twisted earthenware handles, includes: 2 pourers (H. 22 cm), 12 cups and saucers (H. 5 cm, D. saucer: 12 cm), a sugar bowl and a "déjeuner" cup. Signed below the base with the monogram. (One coffee pot has a star-shaped crack and some rare enamel chips). The white enameled earthenware dessert service, decorated with applique elements, includes: a platter (D. 30 cm), 12 plates (D. 19 cm) and a pitcher (H. 21 cm). Unsigned. (one plate cracked). Emile Tessier's workshop was located in Malicorne, Sarthe (72).
