Measurements: 51 x 32 x 32 cm. Pivoting and height adjustable table lamp, by Alfred Müller for Belmag AG, Switzerland. Alfred Müller learned craftsmanship techniques in a self-taught manner and later trained at the Werkkunstschule Wiesbaden. He was one of the first employees of the Braun company, where he designed several kitchen appliances. He was the creator of the SM3 shaver and the KM 3/3 kitchen appliance. From 1960 he worked as a freelance designer. He designed the 2000 fountain pen for Lamy, using Makrolon material, which was previously unusual for writing instruments. The fountain pen became a modern design classic and a worldwide success.
