A cloisonne enamel yellow-ground compressed bowl Qing Dynasty (1644–1911). The exterior is densely decorated with lotus blossoms against yellow ground with a vegetation ornament. Provenance: private collection in Pennsylvania. Dimensions: D: 6 1/4 in., (16 cm.) The bowl is in fine condition. There are no dents or enamel imperfections.

The black-lacquered ground finely decorated in gold foil and mother-of-pearl with a floral cartouche on each side, bordered by intricate floral and geometric diapered designs. The matching stopper similarly decorated. The underside centered by the gold-foil-inlaid two-character seal mark ‘Qianli’. Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear.
