A Roman skyphos, two-handled drinking cup from the 1st Century, made in the classical shape. Made with translucent glass, the body has straight sides that taper towards the ring base. The two handles connect to the body and the rounded rim with a flat finger rest at the top and an angled rest at the bottom for ease in drinking. Ancient Rome - 1st century AD. Dimensions: H: 3 5/8 in.,(9 cm.); L: 6 1/8 in.,(15.5 cm.) This item has been restored. Several cracks throughout with signs of adhesive from restoration. See photos for reference
