Description

This Ancient Greek black glazed, terracotta wine vessel is single handled with a trifolded rim creating a three leafed motif. The body is bulbous shaped and ribbed tapers drastically into a narrow neck as well as gradually into a smaller base. The underside and interior retian their original terracotta color. Ancient Greece - 3rd century. Dimensions: H: 6 1/4 in., (16 cm.) Very good overall. Signs of age throuhgout. Chipping and glaze fading in places. See images for reference.
