Georges PELISSIER (born 1909) The entrance to the Music Hall. Gouache, watercolor and collage on paper signed lower right with AT. LECONTE - PONTREMOLI. Ca. 1933 - 1939. Some tears. 120 x 82 cm. Note: Georges PELISSIER (b. 1909) was a student of Georges Gromort, Emmanuel Pontremoli and André Leconte, at the Ecole des Beaux Arts from July 10, 1933 to June 1939. This poster project was probably the subject of a competition during his school years. The leftover labels, originally concealing the names of students and teachers, were probably intended to preserve the anonymity of the candidates.
