Sterling silver case embossed and chased with floral motifs, mounted on four claw feet. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals and gold hour markers, featuring a green enamel bezel. Winding and time setting with a key. Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1898-1899, silversmith W H Lyde. W H Lyde was a British silversmith based in Birmingham, England. He operated primarily in the late 19th century and was known for its quality silverware and decorative items, contributing to Birmingham's renowned silver industry. Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement is currently working but may require a technical service.
