Officer's sabre, Saxony Guard Rider 2nd half of the 19th century, Single-edged blade with approx. 25 cm fuller, maker Eisenhauer, former decorative etching on approx. 19 cm, knuckle-bow hilt with two side straps and finger loop, the Saxon coat of arms under crown on the main strap, grip cap with lion's head finial, grip covered with chequering and triple winding, nickel-plated polished metal scabbard with two suspension loops, Z 2-3, decorative etching heavily scarred and plastered, scabbard with nickel loss and traces of repair in the lower third, total length 98 cm.
