Rare historicism cabinet Brunswick 2nd half 19th century Walnut, straight frame, one-door front, open-worked pewter panel in the door, finely chased in the form of flowers and rocailles, with the coat of arms of the Duchy of Brunswick in the centre. Likewise open-worked and chiselled pewter panels in the chamfers and sides, walnut frame with ebony inlays, two pilaster-shaped columns with capital finials on each side, with shelves inside, with secret compartment at the bottom. literature comparison: Kreisel/Himmelheber, Die Kunst des deutschen Möbels.
