Description

Moorish style writing desk, 19th century, probably Granada A closed base at the back with two fluted, projecting columns, supporting the corpus with writing drawer and numerous compartments. Apart from the backside, decorated everywhere with leg inlays and various inlaid woods. The most important sections additionally highlighted by figural inlaid and partly coloured scenes. The writing compartment with original lock, but with a damaged lock plate. Otherwise in good condition for its age. Height: 166.5 cm, width: 79 cm, depth: 47.5 cm.
