Germany - Third Reich Gift SA Dagger 1933 This lot is sent from our warehouse in Berlin; Rare early SA gift dagger in an exclusive design. Brown wood handle with carved eagle pattern feathers At the top there is a tablet with the emblem of the SA assault troops. In the middle of the handle there is an imperial eagle. Cast silver guards decorated with ornaments of acorns and oak leaves. On the spin the emblem of the assault troops is engraved. Metal sheath covered with brown leather. Silver mouth cast with an ornament of oak leaves framing a carved in the middle is the emblem of the assault troops. On the reverse side of the mouth is cut out monogram of the owner of the dagger in the form of Gothic E W. On mobile The ring has a suspension for carrying a dagger. The lower glass of the scabbard is like this it is made of silver and decorated with a pattern of oak leaves. Straight steel blade with the assault motto printed on one side units All for Germany-Alles fur Deutschland. On the other side the mark manufacturer Haenel, G.G.Haenel Suhl. Waffen=u. Fahrrad=Fabrik.Armory and a bicycle factory. Blade length 21.3 cm. Blade width 3.3 cm. Total length 36.5 cm. The dagger is in good condition. Daggers in this design are practically never found and are exceptional rarity from the 3rd Reich period. A wonderful collector's item.; Condition-I
