Bullot, and illustrated with 811 engraved plates of religious costumes. Contains: Volume I, the orders of St. Anthony, St. Basil and the other founders of monastic life in the East, with the military orders that followed their rule. - Volume II, the congregations of Canons Regular and Canonsess Regular, with the military orders related to them. - Volumes III and IV, all the various congregations and military orders that have been subjected to the rule of St. Augustine. - Volumes V and VI, all the various congregations and military orders that have been subjected to the rule of S.
