Knötel. Military-themed puzzle game. Three chromolithographed boards glued to wood and cut into jigsaw puzzles. One is dedicated to the Russian army, one to the French army, and one to the Belgian and Dutch armies.

The box contains three chromolithographed boards, glued to wood and cut into jigsaw puzzles. French puzzle game with a postal theme. The four boards (lid + three puzzles) each feature ten vignettes evoking the post office in 40 countries around the world. Each vignette features a color image of the local letter carrier in action; in the top right-hand corner is the country's flag, in the bottom left-hand corner a stamp. These vignettes were also used as advertising media (cards with captions and advertising on the reverse) by Cacao Poulain. Mute end of a restored piece.
