Deed of sale of two female slaves in New Granada, 1769. Folio. 310x223 mm. Two manuscript pages. Text in Spanish, in black ink. Top, round stamp with date '1768 - 1769'; below, signatures of contracting parties, witnesses and administrative officials. The sale and purchase concerns two female slaves, the mulatta Creole 'nomada Paula' and the mulatta 'nomada Elena'. One of the contractors is Iuan Bahamon who places his signature at the end of the document. The Deed is signed by Miguel Ramirez "alcalde ordinario mas antiguo de esta ciudad." Folio. 310x223 mm. Two handwritten pages. Text in Spanish, in black ink. On the top a round seal with date '1768-1769', on the bottom the signatures of the contractors, of the witnesses and administratives officials. The sale concerns two slaves, the Creole mulatta 'nomada Paula' and the mulatta 'nomada Elena'. One of the contracting parties is Iuan Bahamon who places his signature at the end of the document. The Act is signed by Miguel Ramirez 'ordinary alcalde mas antiguo de esta ciudad'.
