Partly with trimmed watermark J. Whatman 1794 - Magnificent and colorful collection of finely drawn depictions of plants. The work "Plantarum indigenarum et exoticarum icones ad vivum coloratae, oder, Sammlung nach der Natur gemalter Abbildungen inn- und ausländlischer Pflanzen", published in Vienna and Leipzig between 1786 and 1792, served as a model. As in the bimonthly plant journal, these sheets have handwritten titles in German and Latin. Contains illustrations of native and exotic plants as well as some drawings of fungi. - Some browning due to paper and very occasional inconspicuous spotting.
