Her approach to photography is participatory: she draws her inspiration from the everyday lives of her models, and stages their vision of the world, where they blend in and merge with their environment. Despite the retouching and technical interventions, a genuine realistic force emanates from her work. His photography evokes the Notes on the Melody of Things by German poet and critic Rainer Marie Rilke. According to Rilke, understanding a character is less a matter of faithfully reproducing him or her than of representing the world in which he or she lives.
