First edition of this opera, here in a piano arrangement. Premiered on April 12, 1826 at Covent Garden, this opera was a great success. Meyer died having only glimpsed this success, on June 5, 1826, while writing a German adaptation. Contemporary half-basane, smooth spine, false nerves with gilding, speckled edges. Board edges worn, binding rubbed, pages sometimes slightly browned with ink, small marginal wetness on last 5 leaves. Uncommon.

Elton John Signed 1972 Royal Variety Performance Program Original program for the ‘Royal Performance in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen Mother,’ at the Palladium in London on October 30, 1972, 8.25 x 11.75, signed inside next to his image in blue ballpoint by Elton John. The program is also signed inside by Liberace, who adds a piano sketch, Dickie Henderson, Mike Yarwood, Danny La Rue, Jack Jones, Ken Dodd, and a few others. In fine condition, with some light wear to covers. This event was later referenced in a scene from the 2019 biopic Rocketman. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
