Caucasian hallway rug, with cobalt blue field decorated with schematic motifs inspired by camels, palmettes and floral corollas. It has seven borders, each with its own distinctive geometric fretwork. Caucasian rugs have a long history dating back to the 2nd century B.C. From the central rosette unfold highly synthetic plant motifs forming arabesques and floral designs. The border is composed of four bands, decorated with borders of synthesized geometric and floral motifs. Complementary colors: white, black, green, yellow and various shades of brown and beige.
