KIRMAN gallery carpet (Iran), 3rd third of the 20th century Dimensions: 369 x 79cm. Technical features: Wool velvet on cotton backing. A marine gallery supports a "Zil-I-Sultan" decoration that acts as a border. It features a succession of multicolored floral compositions and vases with acanthus leaves. Five polychrome floral, poly-lobed and star medallions enrich the central field. Original graphics.

The rug features a central navy blue medallion surrounded by two small elongated red medallions on a tobacco background with small geometric motifs.
