Ivory carving of the goddess Hebe around 1900, unsigned, finely carved ivory, after a depiction of Hebe by Bethel Thorvaldsen, antique-style beauty in a flowing robe revealing one breast, carrying a jug and bowl in her hands, known in Greek mythology as the goddess of youth and cupbearer of the gods, her hair tied in a knot with ribbons, on a small round plinth, in good condition for her age with normal signs of age, h 23 cm. after Bertel Thorvaldsen, Hebe circa 1900, unsigned, titled Hebe on plaque, incised number 19 on verso, stucco painted in polychrome, antique-style depiction of the Greek goddess Hebe, the goddess of youth and cupbearer of the gods, in a long flowing robe, with bowl and jug, on stepped and fluted plinth, one arm restored and with hairline crack, otherwise in good condition for its age, h 69 cm.
