The work, opposed to judicial astrology, aims to summarize the then most popular notions of astronomy, cosmography, and astronomical geography, with mention of the telescope and zodiac; interesting astronomical figures adorning the text. Cinti devotes a lengthy note to this book. Riccardi knows of only this one edition, but reports two earlier ones cited by Urbino biographers; however, no editions earlier than this one appear in the Opac census, nor do they appear in Word-Cat and the repertories consulted.
