Viking ship in raging spray In front of a rocky coast a Viking ship with helmeted crew on the railing, the low flying seagulls together with the already heavy swell herald the approaching storm, impasto painting with broad brushstrokes, mid 20th century, monogrammed "S. H" probably in ligature lower left, canvas backed in two places and retouched, framed, rebated dimensions approx. 70 x 94 cm.
