Unknown (19th century): North African weapon studies: powder horn, musket ball pincers and firearm in detailed depiction, 1850, Pencil Technique: Pencil on Paper Inscription: At the upper part inscribed by the artist's hand: "1. Poudriere Kabyle 2. Cartouchiere (en bois). 3. Sac à balle | Pistolet Arabe. [?]". Lower middle dated: "10650". Date: 1850 Description: Sketch-like depiction of two objects on paper, presumably of North African origin: on the left a decorative powder horn with musket ball tongs, on the right a firearm. The detailing and labelling suggest functional and aesthetic studies.
