Date: c. 1890 Description: The watercolour presents four dancers in traditional costumes, artfully captured in movement and expression. Their postures and ornamentation reflect a rich cultural tradition, embedded in an ornamented frame. Presumably modelled on the figure relief of an Indian temple or Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
