After STANFIELD (*1793), Landshut Castle near Bernkastel-Kues, Lithography After Clarkson Frederick Stanfield (1793 Sunderland - 1867 Hampstead): Ruins of Landshut Castle near Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle, 19th century, Lithography Technique: Hand colored Lithography on Paper Inscription: lower left inscribed in the printing plate: "In the Hunsdruck near Berncastle". Date: 19th century Description: The artwork presents an idyllic landscape scene in fine watercolour tones. Two people, probably farmers, are depicted next to a calm body of water. Their gaze is turned towards the picturesque watermill and a rugged rock on which the ruins of a fortress are enthroned.
