Date: 19th century Description: The work shows a rural scene against a dense sky, in the midst of which picturesque cloud formations float. A majestic group of trees rises on the left-hand edge, while the right-hand half of the picture opens up to a fragment of rural architecture. In the centre, figures and farm animals are harmoniously integrated into the pastoral landscape, with the clothing of the figures indicating their rustic origins. The realism on offer is complemented by precise lines and detailed depiction.
