The great tit, recognisable by its yellow breast and characteristic black head, is looking upwards, possibly in the direction of a small flying insect. Ripe, red cherry fruit can be seen on the same branch. A butterfly with orange-brown spotted wings is resting on one of the sheet near the great tit.
