At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Veduta presso Napoli, Portici e la Torre [...] In Napoli presso Nicola Gervasi al Gigante di Palazzo No. 23". Date: 1806 Description: The etching presents an idyllic landscape on the Gulf of Naples, accentuated by the erupting Mount Vesuvius in the background.
